Our Pain Management Doctor & Consultant
As an experienced specialist consultant in pain management, Doctor Johann Emmanuel works throughout Hertfordshire at a number of treatment clinics.
Having Pain Medicine as his medical speciality, Dr Emmanuel graduated with BSc. MBBS. MRCP. FRCA. FFPMANZCA. FFPMRCA qualifications in 1999.
After completing general medicine training then speciality training in anaesthesia, he also undertook super-speciality training at a number of internationally renowned pain centres. Dr Emmanuel further uses his extensive experience in pain management to advise the NHS Primary Care Trust as well as general practitioners on patient outreach support in the community.
Consultation Fees
Doctor Emmanuel is recognised by all major insurance providers for his pain management services, however please be aware that as a specialist his medical consultancy is not covered by the NHS.
The fee for new patient assessment is £250, during which time he will gain a thorough understanding of your pain condition and discuss appropriate treatments. Follow up appointments cost £150 – these allow him to monitor your progress and suggest adjustments or more aggressive action as needed.
During your consultations, Dr Emmanuel will fully explain all proposed treatments and related fees to keep you fully in the picture at all times.
